Former positions at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Solid State Physics in Vienna, the Institute of Material Sciences of the University of Vienna and the Max-Planck-Institut of Solid State Science in Stuttgart. Visiting Professor at the University of Vienna and the University of Salzburg.

Research Interests

 How changes the physical behavior from the Molecule to the Solid (coherence length effects, cluster size effects);

 Phonons, Magnons, electronic interband transitions;

 Polymers (chain length effects, electron-phonon interaction, solitons, polarons etc.);

 High Temperature Superconductors (electronic interband transitions, spin excitations, magnon-phonon interaction, anharmonic behavior);

 Doped Antiferromagnets (electron-magnon interaction);

 Inorganic crystals (anharmonic phonon coupling, phase transitions);

 Theory of Light Scattering (elastic, inelastic);

 Raman Instrumentation (multichannel detectors, Scanning Multichannel Spectroscopy);
